First of all, we start with the GPS satellites transmitting location
data.

Next we have the vehicle tracking units receiving that information and
calculate it's location with that data.

Then the tracking unit sends it's location information back to a
INMARSAT-D+ satellite which relays
it to an earth station.

The earth station then receives that information and sends the data to
the web-based tracking server.

Finally, you can access your information through a secure account
of the web-based service.
